Chocolate Cookie Bars

150 gms all purpose flour
100 gms butter (room temperature)
1 tsp vanilla
60 gms brown sugar
150 gms semi sweet dark chocolate – chopped into chunks
1 tsp sea salt
1/2 tsp baking powder
50 ml condensed milk
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 170°C and line a 8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk the butter until soft. Add in the brown sugar, vanilla and condensed milk and combine well.
- Sieve the flour and baking soda into the butter and sugar mix. The dough should resemble a thick cookie dough.
- Add in half of the chocolate chunks into the batter and combine. Spread the batter into the baking pan evenly and sprinkle the remaining chocolate chunks on top.
- Bake at 170°C for 20 mins and enjoy!
