All natural fresh mint and chocolate chip ice cream – no colour/peppermint extract!
No-Churn Mint Chocolate Ice Cream

Ingredients
2 cups heavy cream/whipping cream
1 + 1/2 cup fresh mint leaves
1/2 cup dark chocolate chunks
7 tbsp water
1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Directions
- In a large bowl, add the condensed milk and vanilla extract. Whisk until combined.
- Blitz the mint leaves for 2-3 minutes with water until all the leaves are broken down.
- Strain the mint leaves through a muslin cloth and squeeze. Extract as much of flavour as you can. Skim off the foam and add it to the condensed milk mixture.
- Whip the heavy cream for a minute before adding it into the mint and condensed milk mixture. Mix until well combined.
- Lastly, fold in the chocolate chunks and pour it into a loaf pan and freeze overnight.
Notes
- Ensure the freezer setting is on a low-medium setting. Too high will result in a very icy mixture.
