Popcorn Paneer (Cottage Cheese)

4 tbsp rice flour
2 tbsp corn flour
200 gms of paneer / 1 block
1/2 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1 1/2 cups non-flavoured cornflakes
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp vegetable oil
Directions
- Cut the paneer into cubes and set aside.
- In a bowl, add the rice flour, corn flour, red chilli powder, oregano and salt and mix well. Add water as required until the mix becomes thick and smooth.
- Crush the cornflakes into small bits and set aside.
- Heat oil in a pan. Take a cube of paneer, dip it in the batter and coat it in the cornflakes before adding it into the pan. Repeat until the paneer is over.
- Let it shallow fry until all sides are crisp and golden brown.
- Serve hot with your favourite chutney/dip. Enjoy!
